Charming stay with a twist
The cozy lobby, with its good atmosphere. The breakfast was a lovely spread, offering familiar comforts and a taste of Ireland.
Navigating to my room seemed like wandering a labyrinth. The lack of clear signs and the surprising creaks added an unexpected challenge to my stay.

The king room I got was complete with out dated decor and all the bedrooms plus showers. I found a bar in the reception. The location was awesome, just a short walk away from National Museum of Ireland. I appreciated the hotel's main bar.

Location
Having booked a week in advance and contact numbers supplied I arrived at the hotel to be told I was being transferred to another hotel. On repeat questioning i was informed that hotel was located a good 45 mins from city centre so the only reason i had booked the hotel (location) was removed. after requesting to speak to a manager i was suddenly found a room ... staff member was most unhelpful and i was not impressed with how long it took to be told where the alternative accomodation was located !

The location
The shower curtain was held up with cable ties and there was hair in the shower tray. My sisters room had writing on the wallpaper, the bathroom celing was on the floor, there was body fluid on the walls and a pair of underwear outside on the window ledge.

Great location in the heart of Temple Bar, close to the shops and transport links. Rooms cleaned and bedding changed every day, staff very friendly and welcoming.
Hotel was a bit scruffy (but clean), wallpaper hanging off the wall, desperately needs doing up. You have to hand your key in everytime you go out which is a bit annoying especially as we handed ours in and then it wasn't there when we went to collect it when we got back, so had to use a spare key not knowing where ours was which was a bit worrying. It had turned up the next day though. And you only get one pillow each which is completely flat anyway so didn't find it very comfortable.
